Waterjet Cleaning
Includes Cleaning, Deburring, De-coring and Stripping all kinds of Coatings and Contaminants from engine parts, car carriers (skids), molds, fixtures and tooling using pressurized water. This environmental friendly process replaces inefficiently conventional methods such as Grinding, Scraping, Sandblasting or Gritblasting. It also replaces thermal processes such as Flame and Oven cleaning and the required chemical baths (acids, detergents) with their many drawbacks.
The water is pressurized up to 55,000 psi using an intensifier pump. The Robot guides the Waterjet nozzle head along the target surface to abrade the surface with steady process parameters. The Waterjet kinetic energy distributed with the proper nozzle configurations provides fast, efficient and precise material removal for various applications and part geometries.
